W. Thomas Parker, Jr. | AIA | LEED | NCARB
W. Thomas Parker, a graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Design and a Bachelor of Architecture in 1985. Since then he has had the opportunity to work with many of the Islands original, visionary architects, gaining valuable experience in the "Island
Architecture." In 2016, with the retirement of a partner, the firm evolved into Parker Design Group | Architects.
Tom has earned a number of state and local awards for his commercial and residential designs from the AIA [American Institute of Architects}. Tom received his LEED [Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design] certification in 20??. And designed the first LEED certified building on Hilton Head Island.
Mr. Parker has served as President of the local AIA and served at various positions on both the state and local AIA. Over the years has been a member of several community Architectural Review Boards and was the Architect of Record for the Town of Hilton Head Design Review Board for six years. Tom lives in Sea Pines with his wife Lori and has two grown daughters Brittney and Halie.
Timothy C. Probst | AIA | NCARB
After graduating form the The State University of New York Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Tim moved to Hilton Head to intern with Tom Parker. He first received his certification to practice architecture in New York state and later was certified to practice in South Carolina.
Tim is involved with the AIA, serving at a multitude of positions on the board. He enjoys home renovations and furniture building in his spare time and participates in an adult soccer league. Tim lives in Bluffton with his wife Beth and two sons Jackson and Ben. The Probst family are active members of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Joseph ?. DePauw | AIA | NCARB
After working with other local firms for over five years, Joe is excited about the opportunities available to him with PDG not only in personal achievement, but also in the scope of projects. Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and received his Masters of Architecture at the University of Oregon. He obtained his South Carolina certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards [NCARB] in 2015.
Joe has served as President of the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects and is currently Secretary of the chapter. Joe lives with his wife Lydia and their dog ? in Bluffton. He also enjoys DIY home improvement projects.
